CA MAGNUM

Magnum is a 2020 AQHA blue roan gelding sired by RC Calcetas. A black stallion by Redford Continental by a daughter of Leo Hancock Hayes. His dam is LJSR Dusty Shine who is a grand-daughter of The Shine (Shining Spark) and Fancy Red Bark. My parents owned Fancy Red Bark for the last 9 years of his life and these bloodlines hold a special place in our hearts. These babies have great foundation QH lines and are extremely versatile. However, my favorite quality they posses is their willing attitude and A+ dispositions. Magnum should mature in the 15.1 hand range.

 Magnum is 6 panel N/N.

He has been finished under saddle & was ridden extensively at Kayt LaDue Equine in Stillwater, OK from September 2022 - August 2023.  Magnum was with Steve Orth for roping training on the head & heel side from February - June 2024.

RED BARKS LAST TANGO

Tango is a 2013 AQHA bay gelding that stands 14.3 hands tall. He is the last foal by Fancy Red Bark, a foundation bred stallion purchased from the Silha family in North Dakota, years ago. His dam, Watch Kool Kya, is double bred Watch Joe Jack and also has greats such as Blue Valentine and Zippo Pine Bar in her pedigree. He's a medium muscled gelding with a pretty dished face and big doe eyes. His only white is a star & right hind sock. Tango is a 4th generation foal for us, as we owned his great-grandma and owned/raised his grandma & dam.

Tango is finished on the heeling side for team roping and has recently (2023) been started on the head side. He has always been a very sensible, gentle & kind soul. Tango is an excellent ranch hand & has many miles checking cows/calves in the pastures. Tango is the one we put amateur riders on when they come to visit. He holds a special place in both our hearts & will not be leaving our place anytime in the foreseeable future!

SFR STAR SUCCESS

Blue is a 2006 AQHA blue roan gelding that stands 16.1 hands tall & wears a size 2 shoe. He is very well broke & has been used extensively for team roping on the heading side. He has a lot of dollars won to his name & has been a great asset to our program & to Josh.

Blue is easy to handle on the ground & is ‘King’ of the herd. The pecking order starts with him and filters down. He has very smooth gaits & feels like a rocking chair to ride. Blue has also been used to rope & gather those hard to catch cattle in the pastures. On more than one occasion he’s been the go-to mount for dragging ornery cattle to the trailer for friends & neighbors. With his size & disposition, it poses no challenge for him.

Blue has some great foundation in his pedigree; Blue Valentine, Jet Deck, Smokey Duster Too, The Invester & Mr San Peppy.
